25. Snowshill Manor
Set in the small village of Snowshill, just a mile outside of Broadway - overlooking the original village, sits Snowshill Manor. A beautiful National Trust-owned, three-story Cotswold Manor House.
If you are fascinated by unique collections it’s packed with quirky treasures collected over a lifetime by the architect Charles Wade, who bought and restored the house in 1919. Every room is filled with hundreds of interesting objects, and is presented the same way Wade had arranged them with each room a different theme and purpose in the collection.
Snowshill Manor is an intertwining of a museum and a home. It is open every day from 11am to 5.30pm, including the weekends. You can wander, or take a guided tour around the beautiful settings of the Manor House, Priest’s House, Tea Room and the Shop. With so much to see, it is a great way to spend time with the family.
The spectacular views over the Cotswold Escarpment offers one of the most photogenic spots in the Cotswolds, so why not pay a visit to Snowshill Manor on your next visit to Broadway!
