24. Traditional Pubs
If you are a keen drinker, there a wonderful array of pubs dotted around Broadway to sample. The central location of Broadway’s public houses make them the ideal place to catch up with friends in the village; basking in the period charm of a centuries-old Cotswold inn, whilst enjoying the perfect beer. There’s a wide range of great ales available, with some brewed locally, that you must try for a true taste of the Cotswolds.
There are regular live music nights that take place in Broadway, too. If you prefer your pint with a bit of live music, you can choose from jazz and blues evenings, to watching some of the best local bands in the area. The village is known for its popular music nights and attracts a good crowd, making it a great place to mix with other people. What’s better, if you’re the designated driver and you don’t want to miss out; there’s plenty of B&Bs in the village so you can make any last minute plans to abandon the car.
You’ll also find dog friendly pubs in the village. If you’re out and about exploring with the pooch, take a detour and treat yourself to a deserved drink. On summer days sit out in the beer garden and soak up the glorious surroundings, or huddle around the open fires during winter evenings in cosy settings. Visiting one of Broadway’s characterful inns is one of the most delightful ways to spend time during your trip.
