37. War Memorial
The War memorial on Broadway High Street is a poignant landmark within the local community. It's central location next to the Village Green has made it recognisable icon of the village, it's perhaps unsurprising to learn that it's one of the most photographed spots in Broadway. Originally built in 1920 to honour the fallen soldiers of the War, the memorial is etched with 70 names from the local community that lost their lives fighting for the country.
Today it serves as a wonderful reminder of the spirit of Broadway and has become a great place to while away an afternoon and people-watch.
