Full Description
Boundary Cottage is a charming semi-detached holiday cottage which sleeps four guests, in two well-presented bedrooms, with a stylish bathroom. Dating back to the 1800s, the cottage has retained character with stone mullion windows, exposed beams and a stone fireplace with a wood burning stove. These features have been complemented with a contemporary finish and modern facilities including wireless internet access, a Smart TV and Shaker-style kitchen.
The front door enters straight into the Shaker-style kitchen which is well-equipped for you to make some tasty snacks and meals during your holiday. There’s a double electric oven with a four-ring electric hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and a cafetiére, as well as pots and pans, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. Luckily there’s a slimline dishwasher too! The washing machine/tumble dryer is also in the kitchen.
As well as a dining table and four chairs where you can all sit and eat together, the living and dining room features a woodburning stove set in a stone fireplace. There are two armchairs and a comfy sofa to snuggle up on after a busy day exploring. You could spend your evenings planning your next day's adventures or maybe you’ll watch your favourite movie on the Smart TV. There’s a selection of board games as well if you’re feeling competitive!
Bedroom two features a striking Cotswold stone wall and an original stone mullion window that overlooks the garden. In here there are two single beds, made up with quality bed linen all ready for you. There’s a chest of drawers, a hanging rail and door hooks so you can unpack and make yourself at home – plus a wall mirror.
The modern family bathroom is north facing, overlooking the fields with fabulous views. It has a bath with a handheld shower attachment as well as a separate walk-in shower. There’s also a wash basin, heated towel rail and toilet.
The master bedroom is a lovely large bedroom, in the eaves, which is full of character with exposed beams and has magnificent far-reaching views of Meon Hill, Stratford upon Avon and Coventry. The double bed will be made up with quality bed linen to help you enjoy restful sleep during your holiday, so you wake up feeling refreshed and ready to start the day. There’s also a dressing table, hairdryer and a built-in wardrobe, as well as two upholstered chairs for when you want some quiet time.
Outside, the large garden is located immediately across the road from the cottage opening to a gravelled area with off-street parking for two cars. The vast lawn with mature trees gently slopes up to a pretty pergola with an outdoor table and seating for four as well as a charcoal BBQ. It’s a fantastic place to start your day as you sit and enjoy your morning coffee whilst taking in the views. Plus it’s equally enchanting to spend warm summer evenings here, sipping your favourite tipple whilst you enjoy some al fresco dining under the dark night skies.
