Full Description
Campden Yurts is on the edge of the popular market town of Chipping Campden and is surrounded by rolling countryside. Picturesque honey-coloured villages and towns lie all around the area, including Broadway, Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water. Stratford-upon-Avon is just 20 minutes away.
The two 18ft yurts are large enough for a family of five or six. Spacious, yet beautifully cosy, they are equipped with a king or double bed, two double futons, and a wood burner. Fresh linen, country-style cushions, snuggly throws and sheepskin rugs add a homely touch, along with the colourful woven rugs, coffee tables and homemade cake or treat which greet you on arrival. Dogs are welcome in Buttercup Yurt.
For ultimate ease and convenience each yurt has its own bathroom, featuring an electric shower, basin and flushing toilet and hairdryer. The well-equipped utility room is stocked with crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, your own fridge and washing-up facilities.
You have plenty of choices for cooking too. The shared cook hut has a gas oven with hob, grill and oven to whip up a quick meal while enjoying the view over the fields, or cook your sizzling sausages or molten marshmallows on the campfire. And then there’s ‘Bob’ the cob pizza oven for delicious pizzas the whole family will love (please pre-book). Relax outside in the hammocks or play games on the grass areas.
Children will love the local parks and attractions such as the Cotswold Farm Park run by Countryfile’s Adam Henson, or the Gloucester-Warwickshire Railway. Stunning National Trust properties nearby include Snowshill Manor and Gardens, Hidcote Gardens and Hailes Abbey.
We can offer a fantastic location with plenty of things to do, beautiful accommodation to keep both adults and kids happy, and the chance to enjoy the great outdoors while being assured of comfort and ease.
Buttercup Yurt is dog friendly, sitting within a fenced paddock that encloses the yurt, campfire area and hammock.
