St. Michael's & All Angels Church

St. Michael's & All Angels church is the designated parish church of Broadway. Constructed during the 1830's in place of a chapel of rest, it served as a more convenient place of worship than the original parish church, St Eadburgha's, which sits outside of the village towards Snowshill. The original chapel had stood from 1608, but in 1839 it was rebuilt with sandstone and slate roofs to become the new church of Broadway. Certain features, such as the ancient pulpit, were taken from the old church and moved to St. Michael's & All Angels, which is located to the south of the village on Church Street. It features two aisles, a chancel and spectacular stained glass windows which reveal many ancient and fascinating stories.

The church is open daily and services take place every Sunday and Wednesday from 10.30am. Everyone is welcome to attend and become part of the thriving church community.
