Broadway Cricket Club

The Broadway Cricket Club is the perfect place to experience the village's sporting heritage. For over 130 years Broadway has indulged in the game of Cricket and welcomed everyone to take part. The current ground is located in the south of the village on Snowshill Road, just past the church of St Eadburgha, and has been known as the home of the village's cricket since the 1990's. The ground is one of the most beautiful places to play the game in the UK, and on top of that, the club comes with top facilities. Boasting a well maintained cricket pitch, a full bar open every match day in the pavilion, and excellent changing room and shower facilities, the Broadway Cricket Club has it all.

Broadway offers 2 Saturday adult teams, the 1st XI play in the Premier Division of the Cotswold Hills League and the 2nd XI ply their trade in Division Four of the same league. They also have a Sunday team who play friendlies during the season, games are played every week. The aim of their Sunday team is to have fun and enjoy the sport with the teams made up in equal measure of experience, ability and youth. They are always looking for new players to join the club.

Broadway CC also cater for the junior cricketers, offering a competitive under 11's and 13's team who play on Sunday mornings. The junior practise sessions take place on Fridays at 6pm to 8pm from April 27th until the summer holidays start. All spectators are welcome to come along to support the teams, watch great cricket being played and enjoy a drink (or many) from the bar.
