The Broadway Hotel wins 'Best Hotel' in Visit Worcestershire Awards
Cotswolds Inns & Hotels are delighted to announce that The Broadway Hotel have beaten stiff competition to win the title of ‘Best Hotel’ in the Visit Worcestershire Awards for Excellence.
The Awards were presented yesterday afternoon (Tuesday 20th September) in the beautiful setting of Eastnor Castle with Duty Manager, James Exton and Head Chef, Eric Worger accepting the award on behalf of the hotel. The Broadway Hotel can be extremely proud of their success, having beaten fellow shortlisted hotels Stanbrook Abbey (Callow End) and The Cotford (Malvern) to first place.
As a winner of the official tourism awards for Worcestershire, The Broadway Hotel has now qualified to compete in the Visit England Awards for Excellence 2017, which will be announced in Spring.
The Broadway Hotel is located on the High Street of Broadway Village, overlooking the quaint village green. The three-star hotel boasts a Gold Award for Excellence from Visit England and 2 AA Rosettes for the Tattersall’s Brasserie.
The Broadway Hotel has benefited from significant investment this year including a refurbishment of all bedrooms and a new look in the Brasserie. They have also introduced new promotions including a two-course Light Lunch for £9.95 in the Brasserie, and local Beer Paddles in the bar, providing a great way to sample the quality of food and drink they have on offer.
The Broadway Hotel was acquired by local couple, Michael and Pamela Horton in 1997, and became the first hotel in the Cotswold Inns and Hotels collection, which now consists of nine properties dotted around the Cotswolds. The hotel has been run by General Manager Richard Tebay for the last 2 years.
Michael Horton said "I’m thrilled for Richard and the entire team at The Broadway Hotel who have worked extremely hard over the last few years to make the hotel what it is today; it is thanks to their commitment and high service standards that The Broadway has achieved this well-deserved recognition".
