Cotswold Lavender Opens For The Season

The lavender fields are just coming into flower at Cotswold Lavender. Set on the hills overlooking Broadway and the Vale of Evesham the lavender provides a stunning display of summer colour.

Visitors can wander through the lavender fields to take in the fantastic scents and see the range of colours from the classic lavender purple to light blue, pink and white. Wildflowers are also grown on the farm and give a fantastic display as well as being a haven for wildlife.

The peak of flowering is mid July. The lavender is harvested and distilled in site in late July / early August. Visitors at that time can see inside the distillery whilst it is working to learn about how the plants give up their fragrant essential oils.

There is also a fabulous tea room set in a Cotswold stone barn serving light lunches and cream teas. Lemon and lavender cake is a particular favourite.

The shop has everything lavender. Plants for the garden as well as a wide range of lavender gifts made with lavender oils. Soaps, hand cleansers and hand cream for the body, wheat warmers, slumber spray and slumber gel to relax the mind and help with sleep. There are also gifts for the home with candles, diffusers and room fragrance. Lavender chocolate and tea are also available.

Open Daily until 4th August
