From running hotels to running Marathons... again
Paul Davis, Managing Director of Cotswold Inns & Hotels is running the London Marathon once more for Acorn’s Children's Hospices.
Acorn's Children's Hospices are the chosen charity for Cotswold Inns and Hotels due to very close family ties. The collection of Cotswold hotels have now been supporting Acorn’s for 6 years, raising over £55,000 to date. Last year, Cotswold Inns and Hotels increased their fundraising efforts when Managing Director Paul Davis completed the 26.2 mile-long London Marathon, raising over £7,800 for Acorns to refurbish their multi-sensory room.
This year, Paul will be running the London Marathon for the second time and is hoping to raise enough money to help Acorns refurbish their 'hub', where the children and their families spend a lot of their time.
In order to reach this ambitious target, Cotswold Inns and Hotels are calling for their customers' help through some fantastic fundraising including a Champagne Jeroboam raffle, Cocktails for a cause, charity starters and a chance to win this giant Easter Egg, hand-crafted by Ben Strutt; pastry chef at The Manor House Hotel.
