This weekend welcomes the exciting opening of the village's latest eatery - a new kind of tea room in the Cotswolds - the Tea Set in Broadway.
On Saturday 25th of February the Tea Set will be opening its doors for the very first time, inviting everyone to enjoy their highly revered vintage afternoon teas which include dainty finger sandwiches, a selection of sweet treats served with loose leaf tea or coffee, and freshly baked scones with strawberry conserve and clotted cream.
The Broadway tea room is the second in the Tea Set family after the tea room in Chipping Norton of the same name, which opened just over a year ago. Heralded for quality and tradition, their afternoon teas are served on vintage china with period cutlery, linen and tiered stands for a truly authentic experience.
Located in the Huntings, directly opposite the car park on Church Close, this delightful tea room will become the place to go for delicious breakfasts, lunches and homemade cakes - and once the premises license has been granted you will even be able to enjoy a cheeky glass of fizz!
